America ‘weaponizing’ virus, chemicals, in Ukraine— Russia
China: US has 336 biochemical labs spread over 30 countries
THE Russian Federation claimed it has managed to secure evidence disclosing the existence of a network of at least 30 secret biological laboratories being used by the United States and the government of Ukraine to ‘weaponize’ pathogens of deadly diseases.
At an emergency meeting of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) last March 11, 2022, Vasilly Nebenzia, Russia’s permanent delegate to the UN, said among the pathogens they discovered were those for “plague, anthrax, cholera and other lethal diseases.”
“Experiments were being conducted to study this spread of dangerous diseases using active parasites such as lice and fleas,” Nebenzia said, as quoted by the pro-Western, South China Morning Post.
Prior to the holding of the meeting, Russia’s foreign minister, Sergei Lavrov, quoting reports from Russia’s Ministry of Defense, had already announced during the same week the discovery of the evidence by Russian troops, who are entering the third week of their military incursion into Ukraine that begun last February 24, 2022.
The shocking discovery prompted China, which was earlier accused by the US government of being behind the global spread of COVID-19 in 2020, allegedly from one of China’s own ‘biochemical laboratories’ in Wuhan, to demand full disclosure from America.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Ljian, at a press briefing last week, asked: “What has the U.S. been doing at Fort Detrick and its 336 biological laboratories abroad?”
“Do the activities conform to the stipulations of the BTWC (Biological and Toxin Weapons Conventions),” he asked further.
Citing China’s own intelligence sources, Zhao said that the laboratories in Ukraine are just “a tip of an iceberg” and that the US Department of Defense “controls 336 biological laboratories in 30 countries around the world.”
This is done under the pretext of “cooperating to reduce biosecurity risks” and “strengthening global public health,” Zhao said, according to a report filed by Russia Times (RT).
Zhao said that according to data “released by the United States itself,” there are 26 US laboratories in Ukraine.
“In light of Russia’s military offensive in the country, Zhao urged all parties concerned to ensure the safety of the labs, the RT report added.
Glimpse of truth
Although the Pentagon, the White House and the State Department denied Russia’s claim, with White House spokesperson, Jen Psaki branding it as “preposterous,” a glimpse of the truth can be found in statements of other US officials.
Fox News, in a report on March 8, 2022, on the appearance of Victoria Nuland, Department of State undersecretary for political affairs before the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee, confirmed there are, indeed, biological research facilities” in Ukraine.
“Ukraine has biological research facilities,” Nuland replied, “which in fact we are quite concerned Russian troops, Russian forces, may be seeking to gain control of, so we are working with the Ukrainians on how they can prevent any of those research materials from falling into the hands of Russian forces,” Fox News reported.
However, Nuland was also quick to blame Russia should chemical or biological in the ongoing war be deployed, asserting she is “100 percent sure” it would be the Russian troops.
The website, ‘Veterans’ Today,’ in an article last February 24, 2022, the day Russian soldiers entered Ukraine, already reported it expects Russia to uncover biochemical laboratories, even showing their locations in the country’s map.
“The US Army regularly produces deadly viruses, bacteria, and toxins in direct violation of the UN Convention on the prohibition of Biological Weapons. Hundreds of thousands of unwitting people are systematically exposed to dangerous pathogens and other incurable diseases.
“Biowarfare scientists using diplomatic cover test man-made viruses at Pentagon bio laboratories in 25 countries across the world.
“These US bio-laboratories are funded by the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) under a $ 2.1 billion military program– Cooperative Biological Engagement Program (CBEP) and are located in former Soviet Union countries such as Georgia and Ukraine, the Middle East, South East Asia, and Africa,” VT asserted.
