Escudero leads confirmation process

SENATE President Francis “Chiz” G. Escudero on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, leads the confirmation of the ad interim appointments of the 22 generals, flag officers, and a senior officer of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), 21 officials of the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), and of Maria Cristina Aldeguer-Roque as secretary of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).

Escudero, along with other senators and members of the House of Representatives posed with the appointees and nominees after they were confirmed by the bicameral Commission on Appointments (Senate Public Relations and Information Bureau).
