THE “sweet face” of a ‘Trojan Horse’ is Prof. Cielo Magno, professor at the UP School of Economics and formerly undersecretary at the Department of Finance.
We realized this after she confirmed her appearance during a rally this January 31 at the ‘EDSA Shrine’ organized by the so-called ‘Clergy and Citizens for Good Governance.’
This questionable new ‘cause-oriented group’ reeks of US ‘Deep State’ operations directly targeting the Dutertes while also appearing to target PBBM.
Aside from Magno, it claims to have the support of “8 bishops and 2,000 priests, hundreds of military and uniformed personnel,” self-proclaimed ‘political celebrities,’ and ex-Chief Justice Antonio Carpio, the clear takeaway that it is another mechanism establish by the Deep State to destabilize our country.
Prof. Magno became a star media figure of sorts since hitching on to the anti-Bicam Budget exposé that President Rodrigo R. Duterte and Cong. Isidro Ungab blasted as “defective” last January 19, 2025.
VP Sara Duterte has been criticizing Congress’ budget manipulation since mid-2024, which Cielo Magno also rode on at the end of 2024 tagging it as “the most corrupt budget in history,” a charge that made a name for herself as a government “critic.”
Then Magno and company began linking the issues to the impeach Sara campaign and that’s where we smelled that something is wrong.
I did a quick background search of Cielo Magno, and found she was a ‘Fulbright Scholar’ where she received a doctorate in law and public policy.
Fulbright Scholarship has been tagged by many sources, including Amy Goodman in her ‘Democracy Now’ program as part of the US-Intelligence-University Complex.
She was also selected as a ‘civil society representative’ to the ‘Open Government Partnership’ program funded by George Soros’ ‘Open Society Foundation,’ ‘Omidyar Network’ (that gave $5 million to Rappler) and ‘Ford Foundation.’
All of them are deeply part of the US’ ‘regime change’ mechanisms targeting other countries.
The coming January 31 rally appears to be an effort to counter the successful Iglesia Ni Cristo ‘Prayer Rally for Peace and Unity’ last January 13.
This would be an attempt to show that Catholics can also muster millions to join but which immediately turned into an attack on VP Sara by raising the call for her impeachment.
Upon my return from Cagayan de Oro after a week of hectic, Anti-War, Anti-US Bases, Anti-Typhon Missiles forums and motorcades, I was glad to see that a full-blown word war had started between Sass Rogando and Joie de Vivre against Cielo Magno and the January 31 “indignation rally” her group is organizing.
The best repartee from Sass to Cielo Magno that I found is this, “Alam mo Cielo Magno, ang slogan mo ay 2025 Budget Pinaka-Corrupt in History. Sino ba gumawa nyan? Congress diba?
“So, bakit isa sa mga lead organizers ng January 31 (rally) eh part ng Congress-Akbayan Partylist-tapos kaalyado pa ni Martin Romualdez at hindi sila nag-object sa P17.3 billion increase ng budget ng House of Representatives?
“So, ano yan, pinaka-corrupt na budget in history pero major organizer ninyo kasama sa bumoto nyan?”
I am centering this article on Cielo Magno as she almost had me fooled by her sweet face and intelligent talk – but never fully – as I always had a lingering suspicion of her being “Yellow” or “Pink” which turned out to be true after Magno let slip her anti-Sara position. To me, this is the “mark” of a US-proxy.
I believe this January 31 “prayer rally” is the acceleration of a US regime change project.
