Is the CIA and the CPP playing us for fools?

LAST March 29, 2021, the Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) issued two major statements, the first one a directive to its armed wing, the New People’s Army (NPA), which is also celebrating its 52ND anniversary that day, to “frustrate the vicious counterrevolutionary of the US-Duterte fascist regime.”

The second statement claims the CPP is joining the international community in “condemning” the “massacre” in Myanmar due to the civil disturbances that is happening there after a military coup last February 1, 2021.

Incidentally, that very same day, in New York City, a 65-years old ‘Fil-American’ woman was viciously assaulted by a 38-years old American with not any other American doing anything to stop the ongoing hate crime before their eyes.

Only last February 26, 2021, the Philippine Embassy in the US had issued a cautionary bulletin for Filipinos to be careful because of the rising incidents of hate crimes in the country of Uncle Sam—nearly 3,000 attacks in a span of 9 months last year, according to the Stop AAPI (Asian American Pacific Islander) Hate advocacy group– that have victimized Asian-Americans, a growing number of them, Filipinos.

We are calling attention to this matter to, once again show, the convoluted sense of priority—and hypocrisy– on issues to propagate of the self-proclaimed, “revolutionary,” “nationalist” and “internationalist” CPP, which has loudly claimed to be the “real protector” of Filipinos.

Is it just mere “oversight” on the part of the CPP or, does the CPP really has no choice on the matter because that is what its real paymaster and political overlord, US Imperialism, has directed it to do?

For the CPP to look overseas for issues to condemn but not to what is happening in America, excuse me.

To us, there is more here than “meets the eye,” so to speak.

In our Issue No. 20 last year, we reprinted an intriguing article by NTF-ELCAC spokesman and Solcom area commander, Lt. General Antonio ‘Jun’ Parlade that first appeared in the October 2, 2020, issue of the Manila Times and where he raised the intriguing question as to whether the Americans are “protecting” the CPP?

Parlade’s article is in connection with last year’s removal by US social media giant, ‘Facebook,’ of all pro-government and anti-CPP accounts– while leaving out all antigovernment and pro-CPP accounts. Why is Facebook risking the loss of its credibility over its bias towards anti-democratic and pro-terrorist groups, organizations and individuals, a practice that it continues to commit today? What gives?

But we add here another question: Why, despite being in the US terrorist list since 2001, Uncle Sam has done nothing to arrest or “neutralize” CPP founder, Jose Maria Sison?

If US Imperialism can invade a country like Pakistan just to kill Osama Bin Laden for being high up in its terrorist list, or murder Iranian M/Gen. Qasem Soleimani also for the same excuse why has it not done anything to arrest or “neutralize” Sison, who has been in its own “hitlist” for some 20 years now? A mere telephone call to the Dutch government “should do the trick,” insofar as we are concerned.

If indeed, we are America’s “friend and ally,” as they repeatedly said, why is the US not helping us put an end to this problem of continuing CPP terrorism by at least help us put Sison into trial?

Or, are we being played for fools by the CPP and the CIA all along?
