SBMA cites Port of Subic chief for “excellence, reform”

THE Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA), commended Port of Subic district collector, Atty. Marlon Fritz Broto, for his “outstanding service” in overseeing the port’s operations.

In a letter to Bureau of Customs Commissioner Bienvenido Rubio dated February 18, 2025 but received by his office last March 6, SBMA chair and administrator, Engr. Eduardo Jose Aliño, also commended the customs chief for “recognizing” Brotos’ capabilities and assigning him as Port of Subic district collector.

“Your leadership in placing the right people in key positions has been instrumental in ensuring that the BOC remains a pillar of integrity and excellence,” Aliño added.

In just a short period, Aliño noted, Broto has undertaken “significant and impactful steps rtro enhance the operations of both the BOC and the SBMA, proving his dedication to excellence and reform.”
