SENATOR Mark Villar, during Wednesday’s public hearing of the Committee on Public Services, October 23, 2024, expresses his support for several bills which seek to upgrade various offices of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) and franchise applications of two broadcasting networks and three electric cooperatives.
“From transfer, conversion, to expansion of various (LTO) offices, we are here to inquire whether these updates and upgrades of the offices are in line with our goal of making public services readily available to our fellow Filipinos,” Villar said.
“As the former Secretary of the DPWH, I understand the necessity to further organize our public services offices and facilities. I am with our officers from LTO and local government officials in pursuit for development of our local offices, especially in terms of sustainable infrastructure,” he added (Senate Public Relations and Information Bureau).
