ANOTHER police anti-drug operation past 1:00 am today, July 12, 2021, resulted to the death of three ‘high-value targets’ (HVTs) and the recovery of 4 kilos of shabu worth P27.2 million.
Philippine National Police Drug Enforcement Group (PDEG) director, P/BGen. Remus Medina, in a report to Chief PNP, P/Gen. Guillermo Tolentino Eleazar, said the encounter happened along ROTC Road, Bgy. Rosario, Pasig City.
Medina identified the slain suspects as, Paulo Rodil Rioflorido, 26, Richard Esguerra Buan, 36, and, Richard Gacan David, 26.
Medina also informed Pinoy Exposé that they have been tracking the suspects for some time now, identifying them as members of the so-called ‘Maclan Drug Trafficking Syndicate.’
Aside from the illegal drugs and the buy-bust money, the police said they also recovered three .45 caliber pistols, an assortment of identification cards, cellphones and a brand new, colored gray ‘Honda City’ (conduction sticker E2X448).
It can be recalled that last May 9, 2021, the PDEG also engaged in a shootout with another group of HVTs in Kalawaan, Pasig City, where two drug suspects died while 22 kilos of shabu worth P149.6 million was also recovered by the authorities.
