AFTER the Nikkei Asia headlined, “Marcos says ‘hard to imagine’ Philippines can avoid Taiwan conflict,” there is little doubt that the U.S. has found a new ‘Prexy-dent’ to stage its next proxy-war after Pres. Zelensky of Ukraine – our president, Bongbong Marcos.
I have no doubt that ASEAN members are as shocked as many Filipinos about this latest statement from Prexy-dent BBM.
ASEAN has been taking pains to stay neutral and voice the community’s polite denial of even the slightest involvement in the internal affairs of China.
But here comes the prexy-dent nincompoop BBM who declares the Philippines will be involved in a Taiwan conflict.
Where did the line the Philippines used to say “Friends to all and enemy to none” now that the prexy-dent is practically declaring that he will bring the Philippines to the side of the Western imperialist – the USA – in a Taiwan conflict?
Don’t give the public the hogwash that BBM’s agreement to the proposed “security triad” of the Philippines, Japan and US Imperialism is “not aimed at any Third Party.” This latest alignment being pushed by the US has only one target: China.
I just wrote another article for the Asian Century Journal website entitled “How low can BBM go? Too low!” I opined, seeing BBM kneel before the US master, but with this headline of Nikkei Asia he has gone really, really, lower, to the level of the worm.
All these have shown prexy-dent BBM not only “weak” and “incompetent” that past presidents of the Philippines described BBM to be. Now, we must here “shameless” and “ingrate” for taking this line directly threatening to China, the country that welcomed him as a “strongest partner” and showered economic blessings on the Philippines.
Everything this prexy-dent has been doing since the announcement of the expansion of the EDCA bases and the joint patrols with the US in the SCS has been in that direction of national suicide for the Philippines in the eventual proxy-war the US is preparing for Asia using the Filipinos as cannon fodder and target of retaliation strikes against US bases here, now numbering nine bases.
I wonder how long the non-Amboy groups in the AFP can stand BBM’s suicidal mission for the US seeing how this will make the country and its 110-million men, women, children and grandchildren, suffer that worse fate for a nation – the fate we see Ukraine is suffering in today, of national destruction, millions of refugees, hundreds of thousands dead, untold suffering?
When will we see a Second Fil-Am War launched by genuinely patriotic AFP officers and men against this prexy-dent’s policy of servitude to the American war machine to destroy Asia’s growing economy and peaceful rise?
The war against the second colonization of the Philippines must be waged if the nation is to survive.
This new Fil-Am war must be waged if the war against war is to be won and the “Forever Wars” of the West and the U.S. is to end once and for all and Asia’s “Forever Peace” is to triumph.
The civilian part in the Fil-AM war must be waged thru a new Propaganda Movement to propagate the truth as Rizal and Marcelo del Pilar did, this time not by the publication of a paper like the La Solidaridad, but by way of the Internet not only through Facebook, Twitter or YouTube but through the other independent and/or rival state international platforms such as Telegram, WeChat, TikTok, VK etc.
I am actually surprised that the Filipino masses are quite advanced in their understanding of the implications of the EDCA bases once explained.
On my very modest cable TV show “OpinYon sa GNN” show over the Golden Nation Network and SkyCable, I get feedback from viewers as far a Tawi Tawi in the south to Cagayan Province in the north.
Here are some feedbacks: from Glenn of Negros Oriental “…Next Ukraine po tayo pag ipinilit nila ang unconstitutional na EDCAng iyan…”, and from Juanito of Cagayan Province “EDCA is expiring, we must stop it right now…”, from Max of Quezon City “… ibabala lang tayo sa kanyon ng Kano..” and hundreds more opinions like these, all against EDCA.
Another viewer sent FEM, Sr.’ message to the New York Press Club in 1982:
“You and I know that if the Philippines is attacked, the US is not necessarily bound to immediately react…. you will immediately take steps as is necessary to meet the contingency in accordance with your constitutional processes…. That means that you will go the Senate and the House of Reps. What does that mean? That means delay while we are dying there.”
BBM does not even learn from his own father’s brilliant insight.
