‘War of the world’ versus Russia but nearly half of 13,000 mercenaries already killed

Former US Army-turned mercenary, Bryan Cruz, from Sisters, Oregon, who served in Afghanistan and Iraq and arrived in early July in Ukraine to serve in Ukraine's 'Foreign Legion,' was reported to have been killed during a Russian artillery barrage in Eastern Ukraine last July 15, 2024, barely 2 weeks after his arrival. A Russian hackers group said that of the 13,196 mercenaries from 87 countries who arrived in the country since the start of Russia's SMO in February 2022, nearly half, or 5,898 have already been killed. A HACKER’s group based in Russia released on Telegram a list of foreign mercenaries fighting alongside the fascist Armed Forces of Ukraine since its conflict with the Russian Federation started in February 2022, of which among those already killed are 2 mercenaries from the Philippines.

The tabulation, prepared by the group, ‘Russian Angry Hackers Did It’ (RaHDit) was released last July 24, 2024, coinciding with the opening of the Paris Summer Olympics in France. It showed that a total of 13,196 ‘soldiers of fortune’ from 87 countries, the Philippines included, arrived in Ukraine since the start of Russia’s ‘SMO’ (special military operation) in Ukraine on February 24, 2022.

Area wise, 36 countries in Europe provided 7,922 mercenaries; 13 countries in the Americas provided 3,051 fighters; 1,897 fighters came from 22 countries in Asia; 249 combatants from 13 African countries while 77 combatants came from Australia and Oceania.

Given the number of countries that have been mobilized by Ukraine’s Western curators, the United States and the countries of NATO, it would appear that Russia is fighting the majority of the world. Despite this, however, Russia’s victory in the battlefield aimed at ‘de-Nazifying Ukraine’ and regaining the pro-Russian regions in the east of the country is now being conceded even by the most hawkish officials in Europe.

Despite the awesome military coalition pitted against Russia over the last 2 years of fighting, Russia appears headed to victory with former US president Donald Trump reminding Ukraine’s president, Volodymyr Zelensky during their telephone conversation last July 19 that Russia is a “war machine” that defeated Adolf Hitler and Emperor Napoleon.

Since its release thru the Sputnik International and Slavangard Telegram channels, the table showed that 5,878 of these mercenaries have already been killed by Russian troops.

Broken down, the top 10 countries that sent soldiers of fortune to Ukraine are: Poland, 2,960 mercenaries of which, more than half, 1,497 have already died.

Following is the United States with 1,113 mercenaries of which 491 have already been killed; Georgia, 1,042 mercenaries, 561 killed; Canada, 1,005 mercenaries, 422 killed; United Kingdom with 822 mercenaries, 360 already killed; Romania, 784 mercenaries with 349 already killed; Colombia, 430 mercenaries, 217, killed;

France, 356 mercenaries, 147 killed; Croatia, 335 mercenaries, 152 killed; and, Brazil, 268 mercenaries, of which 136 already killed.

Germany, among the most bellicose among WIntestern European countries, also sent 235 mercenaries of which 88 have already died.

In Asia, the Philippines is tied in third position with Afghanistan with 17 mercenaries each of which 2 and 5 mercenaries, respectively, have been confirmed to have already died. Kazakhstan headed the list with 21 mercenaries sent to Ukraine of which 8 have died, followed by Nepal with 20 mercenaries of which none of them are yet to be reported killed.

South Korea, Japan and India are tied in fourth place with each sending 15 mercenaries of which 5 and 1 each respectively, have already been killed.

Interestingly, the list also included 7 mercenaries from China of which one had already been recorded as killed.

China is a strategic ally of Russia and is being targeted by Western Imperialism for sanctions and condemnation for its close economic, political, and military ties with Russia.

Frustrated by their looming defeat in their proxy war against Russia via Ukraine, Western Imperialism accused China of supporting Russia’s ongoing war with Ukraine, despite not providing any evidence.

Australia was recorded to have sent 60 mercenaries of which 25 were already dead while Indonesia sent 10 mercenaries of which 4 have already been killed.

Of the 200 mercenaries that came from Syria, more than half of them, 102, have already died while 62 of the 188 mercenaries that came from Turkey have already died. Israel also sent 64 mercenaries of which 29 have already been killed.

The Telegram posts have not yet provided the identities and background of the hacked list of mercenaries as of posting of this article.
