THE Bureau of Customs’ Accounts Management Office (BOC-AMO) received high praise from the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce Philippines (FICCP), the Practicing Customs Brokers Association of the Philippines (PCBAP), and the Chamber of Customs Brokers, Inc. (CCBI) for significantly improving operational efficiency and client service.
In a statement released by the bureau’s Public Information and Assistance Division (PIAD last August 6, 2024, it noted that the FICCP commended the BOC-AMO for its “remarkable reforms” and “improved operational efficiency.” They particularly highlighted the office’s client-centric approach and responsiveness and cited Atty. Christian Flores, Chief of Accounts Management, for efficiently handling renewal applications.
“We take this opportunity to congratulate you on the many positive reforms that we are experiencing firsthand when it comes to huge improvements on how things are done at the bureau,” FICCP stated.
Similarly, the PCBAP and CCBI also commended the AMO “for its outstanding handling of Customs Brokers’ registration and renewal procedures.”
The AMO is a unit under the Intelligence Group headed by retired military general, Juvymax Uy.
