Auction result adds P1.8 million to Manila Port’s collection
THE Manila International Container Port (MICP) generated an additional revenue of P1.802 million to its collection from the result of its auction of abandoned and forfeited goods last November 29, 2024.
District Collector Rizalino Jose Torralba, in a brief statement, said the auctioned goods divided into 4 lots from 13 container vans consisted of sandals, inflatable pools, cylindrical hinges, sodium sulphate, fire-protective board kits, one unit used motor vehicle, and other assorted goods.
The port’s Auction and Cargo Disposal Division (ACDD) collected P1,782,500.00 from auction proceeds and P20,200.00 from bidder registration fees, for a total revenue gain of P1,802,700.00.
