The President signed the co-terminus appointment to Customs Collector VI of Noel Corpus Estanislao last March 11, 2025. As such, Estanislao is expected to remain at the agency until the President steps down from office in 2028.

Estanislao would be stepping in as the new head of the BOC ‘X-Ray Inspection Project’ (XIP), replacing Collector VI Ronie Principe.

Principe, in turn was promoted to the rank of Director III but with no clear office assignment thus far.

Estanislao’s former colleagues in the police service said he was a direct commission officer at the defunct Philippine Constabulary (PC) before the unit was dissolved with the creation of the Philippine National Police (PNP).

Previous news reports also mentioned Estanislao as former head of ‘Task Force Jericho’ of the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), during the term of Secretary Joey Lina.
