Surigao journo thanks PTFoMS

MALACAÑANG – On June 14, 2024, radio broadcaster Edito Mapayo (left), station manager of DXJE Claver FM and broadcaster of 90.7 Radyo Birada FM based in Surigao City and An officer of the National Union of Journalists of the Philippines (NUJP) Surigao Chapter, went to the office of the Presidential Task Force on Media Security.

Mr. Mapayo, in Manila at the time, maid the visit to personally thanked PTFoMS Executive Director Usec. Paul M. Gutierrez (center) for the latter’s assistance on a harassment/threat Mr. Mapayo was experiencing allegedly from an officer of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in the province.

Mr. Mapayo was accompanied by fellow radio anchorman Mario Lamodoc (right) of Radyo Birada FM 92.5 of Davao de Oro.
