VP highlight role of NTF-ELCAC in Davao region

VICE President Sara Z. Duterte cited the importance of joint regional task force ELCAC (Ending Local Communist Armed Conflict) meetings as a way of addressing issues and problems, in order to sustain the gains of the NTF ELCAC and prevent these problems from being used by the CPP/NPA to recover lost grounds.

“(Here) we can discuss kung ano ba yung dapat gawin para maprotektahan ang ating kapayapaan,” the Vice President said during her speech at the Joint Regional Task Force ELCAC XI Meeting held February 28, 2024, at the Apo View Hotel Davao City.

The Vice President also handed out citations to the officers and personnel of Police Regional Office -11 (PRO-11) and the 10th Infantry ‘Agila’ Division for their contribution to the success of the NTF-ELCAC.
