Is US Imperialism now a threat to human existence?

IF THE world is already revolted—and fearful— over the way US Imperialism has been lording it all over the world since the end of the Second World War in 1945 thru its aggressive, militaristic and ‘conspirational’ method, there is now a more serious reason for every human being to be alarmed.

Last Friday, March 11, 2022, Russia called for an emergency meeting of the UNSecurity Council where its ambassador, Vassily Nebenzia, exposed what Russian troops have uncovered in Ukraine in the course of Russia’s special military operation there that started last February 24, 2022: evidence of US and Ukraine’s collusion in establishing a network of some 30 secret biological weapons laboratories.

The United States promptly denied the discovery, but of course.

But given the track record of the United States of lying thru its teeth when confronted with evidence of its perfidies, must the people of the world readily believe such simple denial?

As reported by the pro-Western, South China Morning Post (SCMP), Nebenzia told the diplomats gathered that among the pathogens Russian troops stumbled upon were those for “plague, anthrax, cholera and other lethal diseases.”

“Experiments were being conducted to study this spread of dangerous diseases using active parasites such as lice and fleas,” he added.

Now, must we simply dismiss the claim of Russia against the government of Ukraine and US Imperialism because of the unrelenting Western media campaign against Russia and its president, Vladimir Putin, painting him as the devil incarnate?

And that premised on this Western description of Russia and its leaders, everything and anything they say must be a lie?

But here’s the thing. Unlike the Western imperialist camp, Russia and some other countries like China, continue to hold the UN and its charter with much respect and high regard.

In short, Russia would not go about calling for an emergency session of the UNSC if it has not truth on its side. Russia is very much unlike the United States, which holds the world in contempt.

Remember when then US state secretary Collin Powell went to the UNSC on February 5, 2003 and claimed they have “evidence” of Iraq possessing ‘WMDs’ (weapons of mass destruction) to justify a US/NATO invasion of that country? And turning it into a wasteland afterwards?

As it turned out, Powell sold the world a bill of falsehoods, a pack of lies. And not one Western government protested.

And having been found to be lying barefaced almost every moment since then, must the world simply rely on official US statements of denial without demanding further proof of their sincerity?

We thus ask: Up to what extent will US Imperialism go in order to maintain its global supremacy?

Has it not any respect at all on the sanctity of human lives that aside from having the world’s biggest military and nuclear arsenal, it also wants to amass the world’s largest stockpile of biological and toxic weapons?

More and more, US Imperialism is not only being exposed as the greatest threat to global peace but also, as the greatest threat to everyone’s existence.

We can only “pray” for Uncle Sam’s enlightenment.
