‘I gave P8 million to Sen. Gordon in 2010’—Napoles
Gadon releases photos showing Gordon with druglord, Jaybee Sebastian
LESS than two weeks after releasing a video clip and making a sworn statement that she gave P5 million to Senate Minority Leader, Franklin Drilon, as campaign contribution in the 2010 elections, disgraced businesswoman, Janet Lim Napoles, again issued a short video claiming she also gave money in the same election year to Sen. Richard Gordon.
Based on the video that was released to the media by Atty. Larry Gadon on October 12, 2021, Napoles was asking if Gordon had declared the “contribution” she gave to him
“Sen. Gordon, nagtatanong lang po, eh, yun bang ibinigay kong kontribusyon sa iyo nung eleksyon 2010, na inihatid ko po sa unit ninyo sa 36-C South Garden unit, Pacific Plaza, ay naisama ninyo ba sa inyong report nung matapos kayong tumakbo,” Napoles asked.
“Sana po masagot ninyo ang katanungan kong ito, para malaman ng taumbayan na nagbigay din po ako sa inyo,” Napoles added.
Gordon ran for president in 2010 but lost to Pres. Benigno ‘Noynoy’Aquino.
When prodded by Gadon that Gordon claimed he does not know Napoles, she declared:
“Siguro, dahil ‘nung makulong ako, lahat na hindi ako kilala eh.”
In the video running less than 2 minutes, Gadon, who was with Napoles all throughout, said it was taken on Monday, October 11, 2021, past 4:00pm in the afternoon inside Napoles’ cell at the Women’s Correctional Facility in Mandaluyong City.
Pinoy Exposé tried to elicit a response from Gordon thru the senator’s Senate media Viber group but has not received any reply as of this posting.
Although no amount of money was mentioned in the video, Gadon later informed the media that Napoles told him she gave P8 million to Gordon for his failed presidential bid.
Pinoy Exposé tried to elicit a response from Gordon thru the senator’s Senate media Viber group but has not received any reply as of this posting.
Gordon is the chair of the powerful Senate Blue Ribbon Committee (SBRC), tasked to investigate allegations of corruption in government.
The senator has an ongoing dispute with Malacañang over the SBRC’s continued investigation into the alleged anomalous and graft-ridden expenses incurred by the government in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Gordon is also seeking re-election in the 2022 elections.
Gadon, for his part, stressed that he is not a lawyer for Napoles but was merely “requested” by the latter to release her video and statements to the media.
Last October 2, Napoles, thru Gadon, also released a short video clip and made sworn affidavit saying she gave P5 million to Drilon in 2010 when Drilon was running for the Senate (see Pinoy Exposé article of October 4, 2021).
Napoles said she made the video in response to Drilon’s repeated denial that they personally know each other.
Napoles remains in jail after being tagged as the “brains” behind the P10 billion pork barrel scam that rocked the Aquino administration in 2014.
Napoles, however, insisted she was ‘mentored’ by Aquino’s budget secretary, Florencio ‘Butch’ Abad, on how to swindle the government thru the use of bogus non-government organizations and foundations.
Abad, like others linked to Napoles, promptly denied her claim.
Photos with Jaybee Sebastian
Gadon also on October 12, 2021, released several photos showing Gordon during a visit to convicted crime lord, Jaybee Sebastian at the latter’s “kubol” inside the National Penitentiary in Muntinlupa.
Sebastian, who died last year from COVID-19 (July 18, 2020), was in jail for kidnapping and carnapping and rose to become one of the most feared prisoners inside Muntinlupa as leader of the ‘Sigue Sigue Commando Gang.’
While inside, Sebastian ended up becoming a drug lord thru his association with many of the convicted drug lords also serving time with him.
Sebastian was among the key witnesses against Sen. Leila de Lima who is now in jail after being accused of receiving money from drug lords while secretary of the Department of Justice under Pres. Noynoy Aquino.
“Ano ginawa ni Sen. Gordon sa pagbisita kay Jaybee Sebastian? Hindi naman nya ito kamag-anak,” Gadon asked.
“Even at that time, Sen. Gordon has witnessed the VIP privileges of a convicted felon , why did he not initiate (a) Senate investigation on this in aid of legislation,” Gadon asked further.
