Former ISG head formally assumes BOC-IG post

The Bureau of Customs last October 26, 2022, formally welcomed retired Philippine Army M/Gen. Juvymax Ramirez Uy (in white) as the new Deputy Commissioner for the Intelligence Group (IG), vice former Philippine Army B/Gen. Raniel Ramiro (4th from left).

Aside from retiring as the commanding general of the 6th Infantry Division only last May 21, 2022, Uy also served as former head of the Army’s Intelligence Service Group (ISG). He was appointed to the BOC by President Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr., last October 19, 2022.
