P9 million ‘Ecstasy’ seized at NAIA

ILLEGAL drugs worth P9 million was seized June 15, 2020, at the DHL Warehouse, Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) by the Bureau of Customs.

The 5,205 tablets of ‘Ecstasy’ were found hidden inside a package of ‘paper shredder’ shipped from the United Kingdom had been turned over to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).

The name of the recipient with address in Pasig City was not disclosed by the authorities pending further investigation. Mike Taboy
