New Amboy Explosive Stunt Coming
THE title for this piece would sound more appropriate for the subject matter I am writing about, “Parating ang bagong kabulastugan ng mga Amboy.”
This is because the 6th anniversary of the 2016 arbitral tribunal hoax “win” is coming on July 12 and the US will certainly plot with their local hacks and minions to stage a dramatic scene and create tensions with China for the media to feast on.
Everyone notices how the Carpio anti-China, South China Sea balloon or windbag has been leaking massive amounts of air that it is beginning to look like a used condom and the wrinkled faces of Carpio’s two main cohorts Albert del Rosario or Conchita Carpio-Morales. But for as long as there are funds coming in from the US into the Albert del Rosario Institute through the CSIS their limp cause can rise again.
The last US-Amboy “kabulastugan” was the “Whitsun” or “Julian Felipe Reef” fishy tale of 220 Chinese fishing boats “believed to be manned by militia” from Task Force -West Philippine Sea (TF-WPS), AFP chief Cirilito Sobejana and DefSec Delfin Lorenzana; ForSec Teddy “Boy” Locsin later signed on but Pres. Duterte gagged all and assigned Spox Harry Roque as only official voice on the issue who explained the reef isn’t even in the PHL’s claimed EEZ!
Philippine mainstream media had a field day exploiting the Julian Felipe Reef fish story and Pinoy Exposé even had a special report on the ABS-CBN-Chiara Zambrano professional hack or paid reportage job for the “Institute for War and Peace Reporting” (IWPR) funded by the German CIA front KAF (Konrad Adenauer Foundation) and the US National Endowment for Democracy (NED) to stage a fake “Chinese Coast Guard chase” of Zambrano’s TV boat at Ayungin Shoals.
How do we all know now that it was another media hoax?
Because DefSec Delfin Lorenzana said so, to Presidential Legal Adviser Salvador Panelo, who then noted, “Zambrano’s boat could never outrun the Chinese Coast Guard which could have easily overtaken her boat but Zambrano’s video showed it very far away clearly not chasing her,” or words to that effect.
Rappler, Inquirer, Philippine Star, CNN Phil, GMA7 all exploited the hoax story, but now its forgotten.
These media circuses are not different from the fishing boat ‘F/B GemVer Incident’ when in June 2019, a Chinese ship named ‘Yuemaobinyu’ accidentally crashed into the rear of the poorly illuminated F/B GemVer in the pitch-black night but which Rappler reported as a “Chinese Assault.”
GMA7, ABS-CBN, CNN Phil, Inquirer, Philippine Star and the local media wolf pack feasted over the incident and they sounded the cry for “war;” now in 2021, thru peaceful discussion with China, F/B GemVer owners may get P19-million in “compensation.”
What are the intentions behind the hoax stories and controversies that the mainstream media, controlled by the oligarchs like Manuel Pangilinan, Lopezes, et al, infiltrated by the Reds and funded by the US NGOs, concoct and stir up?
Philippine oligarchs are traditionally beholden and tied into to US interests (Pangilinan has been co-chair of the US-Philippine Council, for example) and share with the Reds the desire to keep the government unstable.
The US interest is still the restoration of its hegemony in Asia and control of Philippine politics which an independent government like Duterte’s will no longer allow.
The Philippines’ active and retired military personalities that collaborate with the Americans do it for old-times’ sake as well as other favors they get – which is shameful but still accepted until Duterte clamps down on them.
This year there is more motivation to destabilize: elections are coming and the VFA needs to be renewed.
We, conscientious, responsible and truly patriotic Filipinos should exert all and persistent efforts to thwart and stop these disinformation stunts of the US and its Amboys, there is no benefit but only profound peril from them.
Good relations with China is what is saving the Philippines from COVID-19 and our economic recovery depends also on China, which at 8.5 percent growth projection this year, is the only major economy that we can rely on—and willing to assist us—to accomplish this goal.
