Stop US-NATO global Armageddon plot

“MAYDAY, Mayday” is the international call sign for “emergency” and “distress signal.” The world in general, and Asia in particular, should be sounding out this alert, alarm and call to duty to stop the US-NATO ambition and plot to spread Armageddon from Ukraine to Asia, Taiwan, the Philippines and then to the rest of the globe.

Filipinos, and Asians in general, should not fail to open their eyes wide to the recent pronouncements from NATO and some EU officials on its view of Asia and its plot to embroil this region and the NATO-EU’s so-called “allies” in Taiwan and the Philippines, in the same predicament that they have done to Ukraine, their puppet in the Eurasian continent.

On April 7, 2022 various Western and global media outlets reported the declaration of NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg that NATO, the U.S.-led military alliance, is preparing to act against China describing it as “a threat to security and democracy” and NATO is “deepening its connections with Asian allies to deal with the challenge posed by Beijing.”

On April 29, 2022 UK Foreign Secretary Liz Truss delivered what the Financial Times reported as a “hawkish set-piece” oratory at a London banquet targeting China saying that “NATO must have a global outlook… to preempt threats in the Indo-Pacific” and that it “must ensure that democracies like Taiwan are able to defend themselves.”

Yeah, right! Like Ukraine, the US and NATO will be supplying arms eternally so that Taiwan will defend itself to fight to the last drop of blood of the last Taiwanese soldier while the US defense industry are laughing all the way to the bank.

The US and NATO hoping too that their “Yellow” (pro-US Filipino faction) allies may maneuver the Philippines to sacrifice its last drop of Filipino blood to the altar of US “forever wars.”

Let’s lend an ear to other world leaders reflecting on NATO’s role: the soldier Pope from the Vatican politely said last May 4 that “… barking of NATO at the door of Russia… (might have led to the invasion of Ukraine).”

Now we hear NATO barking about Taiwan and Asia while Russian FM Sergei Lavrov has said to Al Arabiya media that, “NATO’s next target is the South China Sea.”

Why would the US and NATO plot Armageddon? The first quarter 2022 US GDP slipped 1.4 percent, indicating the brink of a major economic collapse greater than the ‘2008 Financial Crisis.’

Many experts trace the roots of WWI and WWII to economic imperialism and the oligarchy facing collapse and needing global chaos to escape the recrimination, demolish competition and refinance from reconstruction.

Hence, while the Ukraine War is still limited to the Europe, Asia and the Philippines must act now to end it and turn back the push for global war. Filipinos must help the UN, China, the BRICS and others to mediate the Ukraine War and counter the US-NATO fake news for war. Instead, let us sing praises to Peace and Prosperity for All and expose as well as condemn every incitement to war.

CGTN (Chinese state media) editorialized in a video, “Beyond the Battlefield: After Ukraine, is NATO expanding to Asia?” China describes NATO as barking at the gates of Asia and asks the question: “But will NATO members agree to become a China-focused alliance?” Global opposition to US and NATO’s warmongering can help European nations turn against this drive for global war.

China is not sleeping and on May 3, 2022 international media, including India’s WION reported that “China sparks panic: Deadly hypersonic missile launched to ‘deter foreign ships.’ …

‘The YJ-21 was fired from the warship Wuxi, a type 055 cruiser… Its launch… indicates the missile is almost certainly now in PLA service.’” The US and NATO won’t dare touch China but are ready to push proxies like Ukraine (read, Taiwan and Philippines).

President Rodrigo R. Duterte has been very wise and discerning where the right side of history lies. The Philippines opened friendly and cooperative relations with China and now rides the crest of China’s rise. China’s post-pandemic growth rate continues its upward trajectory despite the crises stemming from the pandemic, the Ukraine and “sanctions” wars.

Let the Filipinos nation respond to the global “Mayday” call by calling on our incoming BBM-Sara government to lead a global call for peace in Ukraine, end US-NATO fueling of wars and express Asians and world outrage against US-NATO proxy wars and expansionism. Let our voices for peace be heard. ###
