The Nuland visit; Sec. Galvez should resign

BY the time you get to read this piece this week, Victoria Nuland, now the US Undersecretary for Political Affairs, would have been gone and on her way to visit another US stooge in the Pacific, Japan.

As the press statement from the US State Department said on March 4, 2023, Nuland “will meet with senior Philippine officials to discuss key aspects of the U.S.-Philippines alliance, including our shared interest in deepening economic, security, and people-to-people ties.

“She will also consult with Philippine leaders on the full range of global issues and meet with civil society and young innovators.”

What this “innocent sounding” press statement really means is that, as before, Philippine officials, our President included, would be similarly stumbling all over the place each time a high official from our master, US Imperialism, parachutes into town.

As before they would give their full attention to the latest instructions and orders that they have to execute from real seat of power in our country, the White House.

And yes, the “key aspects” to be discussed would be the immediate implementation of the 4 new additional military bases the US wanted as part of its war preparation against China and how best we can bring this about thru our “joint” sea patrols, bellicose statements from “local” US officials here (read: the US running dogs in the Marcos administration) and other provocative acts to bait China into taking the first overt act of war.

Coming over here, Nuland, no matter how “kind” the US paints her to be, is another US “war hawk” in the US government who has her share of notoriety; as US Overlord to Ukraine, she was even proud of her role in the February 2014 coup (Maidan Revolution) in Ukraine that toppled the duly elected government there. The “crime” of president Victor Yanukovych that got Nuland all heated up? He was “pro-Russia.”

Nuland also conceded that, yes, Jose, the Russians are correct in finding out that there were at least 24 US biochemical labs spread over Ukraine that the Russians stumbled on last year at the start of their preemptive military operation in Ukraine. Presumably, some these biolabs were put up there during her tenure as Assistant Secretary of State for European and Euroasia Affairs that include Ukraine, from 2013 to 2017.

Along with US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, Nuland was also named by journalist Seymour Hersh as neck-deep in the US terrorist plotting of the bombing of the Nord Stream pipelines last September 2022.

In other words, in going here, Nuland’s notoriety as a destabilizing force should be enough to terrorize US puppets in our government to implement all her wishes—and our fate as a peaceful and sovereign nation be damned.

But in pursuit of peace and better understanding, it is incumbent for the government to give a full disclosure of what the Nuland meeting is all about.

For insofar as yours truly is concerned, DND secretary Carlito Galvez, whom I consider a friend and a true gentleman— is astounding in his naivete or for his intellectual dishonesty.

For only a truly naïve person would believe his excuse that all the “favors” we are giving to the Americans—new military bases, more Balikatan military exercises averaging one exercise every day this year alone, joint sea patrols along with the other US lackeys from NATO, AUKUS and Japan—are not preparations for war against China.

To say that we are giving back to America more pieces of our territory since the RP-US Military Bases Agreement in 1947 (that the Senate put an end to in 1991) due to our common response during “humanitarian disasters” here as Secretary Galvez now puts it, is to insult our common sense.

Indeed, how can Secretary Galvez convinced himself—as he is now trying to convince the rest of us—that all these things are “innocent” agreements between two “friends” and “not targeted” at someone else?

And so, either he is truly naïve or mentally dishonest. Either way, he must resign for being a disgraced to the DND— that should be focused on “national defense” and not offensive war that the US wants– and for being a traitor to his flag and the interest of his country. He is now instrumental in pushing our country to the abyss of disaster and war.

And he should take with him, DFA Secretary Enrique Manalo and PCG chief, Adm. Artemio Abu.
